The King College London
King College London
was established by Ruler George IV and the Duke of Wellington (then Leader) in
1829 as a college school in the custom of the Congregation of Britain. It now
invites staff and understudies of all religions and convictions.
Kings teachers had real influence in nineteenth-century
science and in stretching out advanced education to ladies and working men
through night classes.
The college has developed and grown through mergers with a
few organizations each with their own recognized histories. These include:
United Medicinal and Dental Schools of Gentleman's and St
Thomas' Healing facilities
Chelsea School
Ruler Elizabeth School
Establishment of Psychiatry.
